Stacker sealant can be applied in inclement weather, as it is rain resistant and performs well in low temperatures. Stacker Application Guidelines:

Proper substrate preparation and application are imperative for product longevity. Read this entire DataTec (STK002) before applying any product.

Stacker is for internal seal and stacking applications.

Stacker can be applied in very low temperatures, 0°F or -18°C, but the logs must be snow and frost-free. To ease gunning in cold weather, keep Stacker warm until use.

If applying to hot surfaces, Stacker may bubble. The ideal application temperature range is 35°F to 95°F or 2°C to 35°C.

Apply to surfaces that are free of dirt, oil, release agents or other residue.

Don’t allow Stacker to skin-over prior to stacking—approximately 20 minutes.

Application:

Step 1

Cut nozzle to ½" (minimum)

Step 2

Puncture the inner seal

Step 3

Apply round bead(s) according to the log home manufacturers’ instructions.

Step 4

Stack the next log and repeat.

Clean Up and Disposal

Clean hands and tools with orange-based cleaners, paint thinner or mineral spirits.

Dispose of Stacker in accordance with local regulations. Do not dispose of in drinking water supplies.

Storage

Although Stacker is completely freeze-thaw stable, it is best stored in cool, dry conditions. Opened, partially used tubes may be stored by wrapping nozzle with Saran Wrap or duct tape.

Caution—Flammable

Contains toluene and other petroleum distillates. Keep away from heat and open flame. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Keep out of reach of children. See MSDS.

If it fails to do so, return unused portion with original sales receipt for replacement or refund, at Sashco’s sole option.
