Pro-tech stripper is the first step you if you want to eliminate old failed coating. Penofin Pro-Tech Stripper is intended to remove oil-based wood finishes, loose wood and sealers.

Surface Preparation: Use this product at temperatures when wood is not hot. To eliminate any debris, use a power blower. Keep glass surfaces and metal and tape off any areas not being stripped. Application: Shake well before using. Do not blend thin with other products. Wet the surface to be stripped. Apply a substantial coat with a garden sprayer or roller spray. This product will dissolve or soften most coatings in 15 to 30 minutes. Keep the wood surface damp by infrequent misting. Brush the area with a long-handled push broom or nonmetal bristle brush. Wash thoroughly with water using a garden hose. To achieve the best results for seamless preparation for Penofin wood finish, follow-up with Penofin Pro-Tech Cleaner and by Penofin Pro Tech Brightener Average gallon coverage: Approximately 300-400 sq. ft. depending on surface type.
