Log-Gevity Interior Grade Finish Coat is a low VOC product formulated with essential wood protecting ingredients blended in a deep penetrating oil. Log- Gevity Interior Grade Finish Coat is designed to provide a rich warm glow and natural wood finish. This non-film forming and breathable finish will provide years of color fastness to your interior log home investment. Log-Gevity Interior Grade Finish Coat is compatible with all Log- Gevity Chinking and most other Log- Gevity products. It is also resistant to most cleaning solutions. Log-Gevity Interior Grade Finish Coat is for use on all interior vertical log/wood surfaces susceptible to moisture damage, including all types of dimensional lumber.

Precautions: Read the entire material safety data sheet and product label for a more thorough evaluation of hazards. Fully protect all adjacent surfaces as well as general work area. When spraying near vegetation, cover plant life with cardboard or other suitable material in case of overspray.

VOC Content Limit: Less than 250 grams per liter.

FOR BEST RESULTS AND OPTIMAL PENETRATION: SURFACE MUST BE DRY DURING APPLICATION. BOTH SURFACE AND AIR TEMPERATURE MUST BE ABOVE 50°F. PROPER SURFACE PREPARATION

IF YOU HAVE NEW OR OLD, DIRTY OR WEATHERED LOGS/WOOD

1. Clean logs/wood with Log-Gevity New Log Prep or other Log-Gevity Product.

2. If color is desired, select from a wide variety of pre-mixed, ready-to-use Log- Gevity Interior Grade Finish Coat transparent and solid color stains.

3. Apply a coat of Log-Gevity Interior Grade Finish.

4. Apply Log-Gevity Log Chinking anytime after the interior finish coat has been applied and cured.

   A second coat of Log-Gevity Interior Grade Finish Coat will provide an extended color fastness and a semi-gloss finish. Follow the complete Log-Gevity product specification sheets for detailed instructions.

GENERAL DIRECTIONS

It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

Mix Log-Gevity Interior Grade Finish Coat well before using. A test area should be performed before beginning overall project to determine the amount of Log- Gevity Interior Grade Finish Coat the wood will absorb, dry time, wood porosity and total desired look.

For lumber that is not dried or seasoned: Log-Gevity Interior Grade Finish Coat is formulated to protect wood. However, the duration of protection will be in direct relationship to how much Log-Gevity Interior Grade Finish Coat has been absorbed into the wood. That is, the greater the dampness of the wood the less amount of absorption.

APPLICATION

1. Apply a coat of Log-Gevity Interior Grade Finish Coat with a low pressure (HVLP) sprayer or airless sprayer. When using a low pressure sprayer, always back brush into surface.

2. After the first coat has flash dried, which may take 30 minutes or longer, it may be necessary to apply a second coat of Log- Gevity Interior Grade Finish Coat for a uniform effect.

3. To avoid runs and streaking, back brush product from surfaces before drying. Rough sawn wood will generally absorb more product evenly; however, it will still require back brushing.

4. Keep a wet edge to avoid lap marks.

DRY TIME: Allow at least 24 hours to dry.

CLEAN UP: Use mineral spirits or dish detergent and water. Should Log-Gevity Interior Grade Finish Coat come in contact with surfaces such as glass, paint, metal, caulking or rubber, remove immediately with dish detergent. If a spill is dry, clean it with mineral spirits.

DISPOSAL: Do not reuse empty can. Wrap can and place in trash. Leaking or damaged containers should be placed in a plastic bag and discarded. Contact local, state or federal agencies to ensure compliance of proper disposal methods and respective regulations.

STORAGE: Keep container closed when not in use. Store in cool place. This product should be kept out of reach of children and stored away from food. This product should always be stored in the original container in which it was purchased.
